In the spring of 2015, while living out of suitcases in her grandparents’ house (after her own home was being repaired after a flood), Ariel began posting cool and addictive lip-sync videos to the burgeoning social media app, musical.ly as a way to pass the time. Within weeks, her distinctive style - marked by unique facial expressions, precise hand gestures, and sharp camera movements - sparked the imagination of her generation and launched her career as ‘Baby Ariel’, described by AdWeek as the “Queen of Gen Z”.
Using the early viral success on musical.ly (now TikTok) as a springboard, Ariel set out to build a multi-faceted entertainment career that would bridge the new digital media of the 21st century with traditional media such as TV, Film, and music. After firmly planting her flag as musical.ly’s fastest growing and most popular user, Ariel established a YouTube channel showcasing fun and honest home-made videos, a vibrant and often-quirky Instagram page, a thoughtful and relatable Twitter profile, and a Snapchat feed that gave viewers an inside look at her daily routines. To date, her efforts have garnered a loyal and engaged following of more than 45 million dedicated subscribers across her channels.

As her audience grew, Ariel became the target of cyberbullying and hate across her social media accounts. Rather than allow the victimization to diminish her efforts, Ariel recognized that she was one of countless teenagers subjected to senseless, online bullying and used the opportunity to launch #ArielMovement, an anti-bullying campaign described by BlackBook as one of her most important endeavors. People magazine recognized her for her support in the #HackHarassment initiative to stop Internet trolls and negativity on the Internet and in 2018, Ariel partnered with Invisalign and Awesomeness TV on their “Speak Up” series to combat online-hate.
In 2016, Ariel met thousands of fans and supporters as she crossed the country multiple times headlining two national tours. Her engagement and efforts led to recognition by her peers and media where she won successive Teen Choice Awards on Fox (2016, 2017), was twice recognized by Time magazine as one of the most influential people on the Internet and was featured on Forbes' 2017 list of top entertainment influencers. She has since been seen or featured on Good Morning America, The Wall Street Journal, Rolling Stone, as well as the cover of Billboard magazine.
Determined not to be pigeon-holed and typecast as a ‘social-media star’, in December 2017 Ariel launched ‘Baby A Records’ and released Aww, her first music single. Her efforts to broaden into other areas of traditional media also included a guest-star role on the Disney Channel’s Bizaardvark that same month. Having kindled her creative spirit, she developed, executive-produced, and starred alongside her little brother Jacob and mom, Sharon in her own web-series, Baby Doll Records on the popular Brat TV Channel. She also wrote the Harper-Collins published, Dreaming Out Loud, a 21st century handbook and journal for teenagers trying to navigate life’s challenges.
With Baby Doll Records under her belt, Ariel was cast as the co-lead in Nickelodeon’s feature film, Bixler High Private Eye with Jace Norman of Henry Danger fame. She also released another handful of songs and in late 2019, made her directorial debut for the music video to her song, Wildside, an interpolation of Lou Reed’s Walk on the Wild Side. Ariel has since returned to the Disney Channel in the role of Wynter, a passionate and loyal werewolf in Zombies 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the wildly popular Zombies Disney Channel Original Movie (2018) co-starring Milo Mannheim and Meg Donnelly. She also can be seen co-hosting Disney’s Fam Jam with Trevor Tordjman and Phil Wright, a fun and inspiring family dance competition.

Ariel splits her time between Los Angeles, California & Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She brings her cat Raj everywhere she goes.
